Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce the introduction of a User Message option within the Notification Set Definition in the Mimecast Administration Console. This will allow customers to add a customized message to Targeted Threat Protection notifications, enabling them to better inform their employees. See below:

 

What's changing

• An entry box will now be included under Properties section of the notification set Definition. The default entry field will be empty. 
• Once a message is added, it will be added to all of the Targeted Threat Protection notifications in the scope applicable to the relevant Notification Set policy. This functionality also supports hyperlink generation.

Recommended actions

Should you wish to use this feature, note that messages can contain up to 2000 ASCII characters, which will then update existing definitions to apply the message.
