Mimecast is pleased to announce the release of QR code detection within Email Security Cloud Integrated. 

What's changing

• This enhancement will protect against threats using QR codes to deliver malicious content.
• Detected QR code threats will be categorized as URL Detections.

Recommended actions

Administrators do not need to change their policy configuration to take advantage of this new feature, as this is applied automatically.
