This article explains the onboarding process for a Brand Exploit Protect, once you have signed on to the service.
1. Brand Exploit Protect - RFI Document
After signing on to the Brand Exploit Protect service, the first part of the onboarding process will consist of filling out an RFI document, the purpose of this document is to give all the needed information to successfully monitor your brand to the fullest potential.
There are a number of data points needed, to ensure the managed services team has everything needed to successfully create your account and have it up and running as quickly as possible.
General Company Detail & Contact Information
This information will help us know who we should contact whenever a live attack has been detected, ensuring we are able to remediate the threat as quickly as possible.
Domains, Brand Names, Trademarks & Keywords
Web Scraping Tracker
This information will help us set up the web scraping tracker technology, ensuring it has all the needed information to work as intended as quickly as possible.
2. Certificate of Representation
All threat takedowns performed by Mimecast are legal takedowns, involving the relevant parties able to take down the malicious content legally. We must have your company's approval to act on your behalf when it comes to performing these takedowns, the certificate of representation is a legal document that allows the Mimecast Managed Services team represent the your best interest when it comes to remediating digital threats targeting their brand.
3. Account Creation
Following the first two steps, the Managed Services team will set up the customer account. This step will start the monitoring process and allowing you to access your dedicated dashboard.
This process will be solely handled by the Managed Services team, you will be notified once the account has been created and you can visit the dashboard using the More Services from Administration Console.
Throughout the entire process, you will be updated on the progress and have an implementation professional ensuring any questions you have are answered. This will ensure a quick and easy onboarding process, allowing you to get the full potential of the Brand Exploit Protect services as quickly as possible.
