Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce a new feature that will be available to all Email Incident Response customers. We will be integrating with the Microsoft Native Reporting button within Microsoft Outlook. This will enable end-user reporting of suspicious messages to Mimecast, such as false negatives or Awareness Training simulations.

What's changing

• End-users will be able to report messages to Mimecast, by using the reporting buttons available in any Microsoft Outlook client.
• Reporting messages via this new method will be processed identically to existing reporting methods for Email Incident Response customers.

Recommended actions

To be able to use this feature, Administrators will need to configure this, which is a two-stage process involving creating a connector and ensuring that the Configurations page contains the correct setup. For more information on how to do this, see Outlook End-User Reporting.
