Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce the updates to the Permitted Senders policy options.

Our existing Permitted Sender policy allows customers limited control over what actions are applied when the policy triggers. Administrators can either permit senders without Spam and reputation checks being performed or take no action (essentially do not bypass Spam and reputation checks).

What's changing

• Additional options have been added to control which security checks are bypassed when a Permitted Sender policy is triggered. This will improve the flexibility of the Permitted Sender policies.

Recommended actions 

No actions need to be taken, and existing policies will not have their configuration changed as part of this enhancement.
