Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce the availability of an enhancement to the use of wildcards when used in policies.

What's changing

• Mimecast currently supports the use of preceding and trailing wildcards, for example:
  *accounts
  accounts*
• And in addition, the use of the multi-keyword, for example, multi: *accounts@*.co.uk
• This enhancement will allow the use of a wildcard at the beginning and end, enabling constructs such as the following to be used in policies:
  *accounts*
  *finance*
