Overview

As part of our continuous product improvement efforts, Mimecast is pleased to announce the following changes to the Your API 2.0 Applications tab in Email Security Cloud Gateway.

What's changing

• The Get Credentials button has been replaced with a Manage API 2.0 Credentials button in the slide-in panel of your selected app on the Your API 2.0 Applications tab.
• This change enhances the security experience, as customers can no longer access existing Client Secret, and would need to regenerate new credentials.

Recommended actions

Mimecast recommends that customers copy the newly generated Client ID and Client Secret to a safe location, as the Client Secret will no longer be available for reference afterward. Customers can regenerate the Credentials by using the Manage API 2.0 Credentials button in the Your API 2.0 Applications section.
