Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce the release of policy detection engine settings, this change will remove the Global Detection Engine settings found in the Configuration menu in the Cloud Integrated admin console. Administrators will be able to configure specific Detection Engine settings on per policy basis, resulting in greater flexibility.

What's changing

• Administrators will be able to configure Detection Engine Settings on a per-policy basis, as the Global Detection Engine settings found under Configuration | Detection Engines will be removed as part of this update.

Recommended actions

There are no actions required as a result of this change. All existing and onboarding customers will have access to this feature and customers with custom policies, will have their custom policies migrated to have their Global Detection Engine settings included.
