Issue
The Mimecast Account Assessment Report (MAA) pulls in Impersonation Protect information from two areas. These are the Inbound Holds which show messages held due to a policy. Further in the report, there are Impersonation Detections pages which are split out. These pages use different tables as the source for the information, and there are occasionally differences in the counts shown in the Inbound Holds versus the Impersonation Detections pages. The differences are likely to be minor, but we have seen instances where they are not fully aligned.
Also, there may be differences in the MAA's Impersonation Protection numbers and/or counts in the Mimecast Administration Console's impersonation logs. We have identified the cause of the discrepancy and plan to update the data source soon. This update will enable us to enhance the report and deliver greater value to our customers.
In light of this forthcoming effort, we will not be making any further updates to the existing report at this time.
