DMARC Analyzer - Google Workspace Setup

This article contains information on publishing a DMARC record in Google Workspace (G Suite), including step-by-step instructions for generating the record, adding it to your DNS, and enabling authentication, with expected DNS propagation time. DMARC Analyzer will aid you to generate your own custom DMARC record.
 

After generating your DMARC record you should follow these simple steps to publish your DMARC record into your Google G Suite DNS:

  1. Log in to your Google account and open the Google Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to Apps | Gmail | Authentication 
  3. Click on the Generate New Record button. 
  4. Select a DKIM key bit length and a Prefix selector.
  5. Click on the Generate button.
  6. Enter the DNS TXT into your domain provider's DNS settings page. 
  7. Click on the Start Authentication button.
  8. You should now wait some time before the first reports will start to arrive in DMARC Analyzer. This is due to DNS caching and the fact that the ISPs mostly send one report each day. This can take up to 72 hours.
