Overview

As part of Mimecast's commitment to continuous improvement, we will be updating the Email Security Cloud Integrated installation to include checks for known Microsoft 365 configuration that has been found to cause mail delivery issues with messages processed  by the platform.

What's changing

When administrators install or upgrade to Monitor or Protect mode in Email Security Cloud Integrated we have introduced a new check. We will check the Microsoft 365 environment for the below Anti-Spam policy settings.

  •  SPF Record: Hard Fail.
  •  Sender ID filtering: Hard Fail.
