Issue

In some circumstances, when domains are set to Known Recipients Only, an email will be accepted for users who have been removed from the Internal Directory

This is a known limitation not on the Mimecast Product Team Roadmap to resolve.

Workaround

Follow these steps to allow Mimecast Engineering to resolve this issue for you:

  1. Please raise a new support case.
  2. Area - Case Reason: Email Security Cloud Gateway.
  3. Topic:  Message Tracking.
  4. Type: I need technical support regarding a product:
  5. In the Description field, please describe the symptom, list your domain and user(s), and reference Known Issue ID PKI0113.
