Email Security Cloud Gateway - Contact Export Wizard - Jul 2022

Mimecast will be making the Contact Export Wizard End of Life on October 1st, 2022. 

Overview 

This end-of-life falls in line with Microsoft's deprecation of Basic Authentication in Exchange Online. The date for the deprecation is October 1st, 2022. After this date, Basic Authentication will cease to work for the Contacts Export Wizard for M365 customers. Customers who attempt to use the wizard from October 1st, 2022, will get an authentication failure. 

Mimecast has no current plans to replace the Contact Export Wizard. Instead, customers will need to manually create a spreadsheet and upload it to the Managed Senders list. For full details, see the Managing an End User's Managed Senders List.
