Mimecast for Mac - Account

This article contains information on updating your password and logging into a different user account in the Mimecast for Mac application, including step-by-step instructions for both processes.

Updating Your Password

You can update your password, by using the following steps:

1. Open the Mimecast for Mac application, and ensure you are logged in.
2. Navigate to Preferences by using either the menu bar, or the application's dropdown menu.
3. Select the Account tab.
4. Update your password and click Save Password.

Log Into a Different User Account

You can log into a different user account, by using the following steps:

1. Open the Mimecast for Mac application, and ensure you are logged in.
2. Navigate to Preferences by using either the menu bar, or the application's dropdown menu.
3. Click on the Account tab.
4. Select Log Out.
5. In the pop up confirmation window select Logout.
6. Enter the email address of the account you wish to log in with in the Email Address field and click Next.
7. Select the Authentication Type and enter your password.
8. Click Next.
