This article is a guide on how to set up Mimecast to work with ZorgMail if you are using Exchange on-premises.
If you use Exchange on-premises, please read the documentation ZorgMail Safe Relay aansluitinstructies - Onpremise Exchange i.c.m. Spamfilters This article describes the settings you need to make on the Exchange server to communicate with a product like Mimecast.
Send messages based on X-Header
- Log in to the Mimecast Administration Console.
- Navigate to Policies | Gateway Policies | Content Examination | Definition.
- Select the [Zorgmail – Content Definitions folder].
- Click on New Content Definition.
- Give the Content Definition a name – “ZorgMail - X-Header Controle”.
- Set the Activation Score to 1.
- Create a line in the Word/Phrase Match List : [1 “X-MS-Transport-Connect-To: ZorgMail”].
- Select Scan Message Headers.
- Enable Inbound and Outbound Check.
- Select “ZorgMail – Outbound” as the Delivery Route option.
- Select “ZorgMail – Secure Outbound” as Secure Delivery.
- Click Save and Exit.
After creating the definition for the Content Examination a policy must be created to execute the definition.
- Navigate to Gateway Policies | Content Examination | Policy.
- Click New Policy.
- Give the Policy the name – “ZorgMail - X-Header Controle”.
- Select “ZorgMail – X-Header Controle“ on the Select Content Definition option.
- Set Applies From to Internal Addresses.
- Set Applies To to External Addresses.
- Click Save and Exit.
The configuration within Mimecast for ZorgMail is ready to be used.
