Mimecast Administration Console - Dashboard

This article contains information on the Mimecast Administration Console dashboard, providing an overview of Mimecast services, notification feeds, email queues, and activity logs, with features for monitoring and managing account settings and security.

The Mimecast Administration Console dashboard gives you a bird's-eye view of your Mimecast system and services. It is displayed by default when you log in to the Mimecast Administration Console. Should you need to access the dashboard after you've logged on, it is available on:

      • The Account | Dashboard menu item.

Only information relevant to your account is displayed. For example, if you are not using our journaling functionality, the Journaling Connections section is not displayed.

Notification Feed

The Notification Feed displays notifications sent by Mimecast to you about your account and is displayed in a list with the latest at the top.

You can filter the notification feed by one of the filter types below. The current filter is displayed above the notification feed. To change the filter:

  1. Click the down arrow to the right of the current filter.
  2. Click either:
          • Product only displays notifications about your Mimecast products (e.g., news about recent releases).
          • Service to display only notifications about your Mimecast service.

In situations where we want to draw your attention to a notification (e.g., a service outage), this will be the only filter type available. You will not be able to see Product notifications until the information no longer applies.

  1. All News to display a combination of your Product and service notifications.

Additionally, service notifications have a color-coded title and icon to help you identify their severity:

          •  = Good
          •  = Warning
          •  = Error
