Message Tracking - Customizing Message Views

This article contains information on filtering and customizing search results in Mimecast Message Tracking, including applying filters by status, route, or attachments, customizing displayed columns, and narrowing results using date filters.

Message Tracking (found under the Message Center top-level menu) in the Mimecast Administration Console allows administrators to apply filters and customize the messages displayed.

You can filter your search results by:
  • The message status information (delivered, bounced, etc.).
  • The message route (inbound, outbound, etc.).
  • Whether the message has an attachment or not.

The filters available differ according to the data displayed in the dialog. To filter your search:

  1. Click on the Filters drop-down menu.
  2. Select the required filters.
  3. Optionally, click on the Select All link to select all filters.
  4. Click on the Apply button, and the results will display.

Selecting a combination of Filter by Status - Rejected and any Filter by Route options will not return any results.
