Overview

This article contains information on updates in version 4.1.1, including a new Secure Messaging log feature, fixes for Impersonation and URL Protection, and improvements to Attachment Protection, logs, server connections, and advanced account administration.

Included internal updates have taken us to version number 4.1.1.

New Feature

• Secure Messaging: Based on customer requests, a log area for Secure Messaging has been made available under the Monitoring section.

Fixes from the Previous Release

• Impersonation Protection: We've resolved an issue whereby Receipt View and Delivery View displayed the same information.
• Impersonation Protection: The date picker on the log sections is now restricted to the last 30 days.
• Secure Messaging: The date picker on the log sections is now restricted to the last 30 days.
• URL Protection: We now correctly apply the selected filter in the URL Protection log section when search text is used.

What's changing

• Attachment Protection: We've made alignment improvements to the "Most Clicked URL" section found on the Attachment Protection Dashboard.
• Logs: The slide-in panel on various log sections now includes Previous and Next options to allow for easy navigation through the event details.
• Logs: The date picker no longer allows users to select future dates.
• Content Examination: Disclaimer text has been added to the lookup function for Mimecast Managed Reference Dictionaries.
• Server Connections: The name field is now limited to 70 characters.
• Advanced Account Administration: MD5, Fuzzy Hashes, and Mimecast Managed Reference Dictionaries are now supported on the Master and Group accounts when Policy Inheritance is enabled.
