Mimecast for Mac - Cloud Password

Preconditions

• Your Administrator has configured Mimecast for Mac to use a cloud password for authentication.
• Your Administrator has given you the ability to set or change your password.

Changing Your Cloud Password

You can change your cloud password, by using the following steps:

1. Open the Mimecast for Mac application, and ensure you are logged in.
2. Click on the Mimecast tab.
3. Select Preferences.
4. Select the Account tab.
5. Select Change Cloud Password.
6. Enter your Current Cloud Password.
7. Enter a New Cloud Password, ensuring it conforms to the complexity rules as set by your administrator and displayed.
8. Confirm your new password and select Change Password.

Successfully changing your cloud password results in you being logged out; you will need to log back in again.
