Overview

Mimecast has made the strategic decision to conclude its Pilot Program for in-app Chat Support in December 2024, which was initially launched for Email Security Cloud Integrated customers in March 2024.

This decision allows the company to refocus its efforts on enhancing the overall user experience, incorporating new AI functionalities, and preparing for the rollout of an innovative knowledge experience slated for the upcoming year. The temporary pause of the chat support pilot demonstrates Mimecast's commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions and will ensure that the relaunch will offer a more robust and efficient support experience for our customers.

What's changing

  • Conclusion of the pilot program for in-app chat support from December 2024. The valuable feedback that has been gathered during the pilot phase will be instrumental in refining and improving the support system. Mimecast plans to reintroduce an enhanced version of the in-app support feature in Spring 2025, incorporating the insights and suggestions provided by participants during the initial trial period.
