Issue
We are aware of an issue in Mimecast for Outlook, relating to the Windows Defender Firewall Block Rule.
In rare scenarios, users may encounter the message: "A rule has been modified in the Windows Defender Firewall exception list."
The msddsk.exe process is blocked by rundll32.exe.
Workaround
- Create a Group Policy Object (GPO) entry, to allow msddsk.exe.
