Mimecast is pleased to announce Collaboration Security tools; Protection for Microsoft Teams and Protection for Microsoft SharePoint & OneDrive, designed to further strengthen your organization's defenses against evolving cyber threats. These enhancements provide advanced protection with real-time scanning and threat detection across Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Leveraging our existing URL and malware-scanning capabilities, this solution ensures robust security across your collaboration environments.

What's changing

• Microsoft SharePoint & OneDrive files are continuously monitored, especially those modified within the last 30 days, and malicious content is quarantined, with users receiving a replacement document containing a security notification.
• Administrators can access detailed reports on file detections, manage quarantined content, and implement custom policies for specific Microsoft Teams channels, Microsoft SharePoint sites, directories, or user groups.
