This article contains information on using User Data Removal to permanently delete an individual's content from integrated platforms like Meta, Microsoft Viva Engage, Teams, and Aware Intelligent Data Fabric.
User Data Removal can be used for deleting an individual's content from Meta, Microsoft Viva Engage or Teams, and the Aware Intelligent Data Fabric. This can be used in the event of termination, resignation, or GDPR.
This is a permanent action that can't be undone
- Navigate to User Data Removal. Since User Data Removal is extremely powerful, we have a two-step set-up process; if you see the New Request button, you are ready to get started.
- Select New Request.
- Enter the desired employee email address (make sure they are not on Data Hold; otherwise, this request will not process).
- Select Delete User Data.
- Activate the Integrated Content Platform and select Content Sources for deletion.
- Review your selections and Make Request.
- Your request will show under the Processing tab.
- Once the request has been processed, the employee's data is now permanently deleted from the Integrated Content Platform and Aware Intelligent Data Fabric. An email will be sent to the employee and requester confirming the request.
For Slack Integration, if you need to remove direct messages from the platform for a specific user, you will need to check the direct message box under your Slack Organization.
