Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce its support of DANE (DNS-based Authentication of Named Entities) for SMTP for customers sending outbound email from the Email Security Cloud Gateway service.

What's changing

Mimecast now supports the DANE protocol on Outbound Email for Email Security Cloud Gateway. For more information, see Email Security Cloud Gateway - DANE.

Recommended actions

Customers should consider enabling DANE via a new option for Secure Delivery Definitions policy (disabled by default).
