Overview

We are pleased to announce enhancements in human risk scoring by extending our coverage of email security risk signals to the Microsoft Defender Office 365 platform. The integration periodically reads email-related events, such as URL clicks and blocked delivery from Microsoft via API.

What's changing

• The Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Integration will be available for Engage, Email Security Cloud Gateway in the Mimecast Administration Console Integration Hub.

Recommended actions

• Customers must have an Engage subscription.
• Customers must have a license for Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Customers must have a Mimecast Administrator account. 
• Users are required to have one of the following roles to add, edit, or delete the configuration:
  
  
  • Global Sys Admin
  • Sys Admin - SD Full
  • Super Administrator
  • Full Administrator
  • Basic Administrator
  • Partner Administrator
  • Custom role with Integrations Marketplace (Read/Write permissions must be enabled)
