Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce the new Partner Onboarding Wizard for Email Security Cloud Gateway, which simplifies the onboarding process, enhances control over administrator roles, and streamlines onboarding for quicker access and understanding of Mimecast.
We have also simplified the process for adding users within the Mimecast Partner Portal.
What's changing
- New Mimecast Partners can onboard faster using the Partner Onboarding Wizard. It facilitates these essential steps:
- Adding Emergency Contact.
- Validating primary domain.
- Syncing users using Directory Integration.
- Assigning users to Partner Portal roles.
- Administrators gain immediate access to the Mimecast Partner Portal, distinguishing Mimecast Partner roles from email protection needs.
- Partners can sign up for Email Protection by contacting Professional Services or their Channel Account Manager.
- We have also simplified the Add User experience within the Mimecast Partner Portal, by removing the requirement to add users in the NFR Mimecast Administration Console account.
