This article contains information on configuring and managing Microsoft Teams integration for Behavioral Nudges in Engage, including enabling notifications, setting up the integration via the Integrations Hub, and confirming successful Teams Nudge creation.
Data from Test Campaigns will not trigger Nudges.
Configuring Teams Nudges
You can navigate to the Teams section of Behavioral Nudges by using the following steps:
- Log on to Engage.
- Navigate to Nudges | Simulated Phishing | Edit.

To enable the notification channel, select Teams.
Once the notification has been enabled, the following banner will be displayed:
Teams Nudges are not available until an integration with Microsoft Teams is configured via the Integrations Hub.
- To update the Nudge Rule, select the Edit button.
- To configure the integration with Microsoft Teams:
- Click on the Integrations Hub link.
- Scroll down to Teams and select Configure New:
- Application Name: Enter a name that will help you easily identify the application.
- Description: Enter a description to allow you to identify it.
- Click the Authorize button and wait for the authorization process to complete.
- You will be redirected to a pop-up where you need to click the Allow button.
- You will then be redirected to a UI, where you can view the newly created integration.
- To verify that the Teams Nudge was successfully created go to Microsoft Teams, where the Mimecast Bot will appear:
- If a user has already received a phishing email and subsequently clicks on it after this workflow has been completed, they will receive a corrective nudge via email about the risky behavior. The same nudge will also be sent via Microsoft Teams, along with the hyperlink to the video.
