Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce the general availability of blocked senders and user group Restful API Endpoints within the Cloud Gateway. The Blocked Senders Policy APIs enable granular control over email filtering, ensuring that unwanted communications are minimized. Meanwhile, the ability to create profile groups streamlines user management, making it easier to apply specific policies to defined sets of users.

What's changing?

The following Restful API Endpoints will be made available:

• GETALL: Retrieve existing blocked sender policies.
• GET: Retrieve existing blocked sender policies by Policy ID.
• CREATE: Add new blocked sender policies to prevent unwanted emails.
• UPDATE: Modify existing policies to adjust sender restrictions.
• DELETE: Remove blocked sender policies that are no longer needed. 

User and Group Management 

• CREATE Profile Group: Establish new user groups, for better organization and policy application.
