Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce the new Sensitive Data Handling Nudges feature, in Engage.
This will elevate security awareness by identifying and educating users on risky behavior associated with sensitive data handling.
By analyzing user activities, such as improper data sharing, or insecure storage practices, it delivers targeted educational Nudges through automated Email, Slack or Teams, complete with optional videos.
What's changing
- New Nudge Templates: Updated Email and video templates for behaviors, such as improper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and successful avoidance of data exposure risks.
- Video and Poster Updates: New videos and posters, for specific scenarios related to sensitive data handling.
- Improved Messaging: Revised subject lines and Email content, for clarity and consistency in communication regarding sensitive data handling.
Recommended actions
A new banner and tool-tip in the UI will notify administrators that Sensitive Data Handling Nudges are not available until an integration with a third-party data handling solution (Incydr, Microsoft Purview, or Netskope) is configured via the Integrations Hub.
