Q Will existing retention adjustments from the Legacy/Administration Console Archive be visible in Case Review?
A Not immediately. However, we intend to migrate existing Legacy retention adjustment requests over to Case Review in the near future.
Q Can I self-approve my request?
A No, self-approval is not permitted.
Q What are the various stages of a retention adjustment request?
A

A retention adjustment request goes through the following stages:

  1. Request created - Pending.
  2. Request approved - Approved.
  3. Once expiration date of the message(s) is updated - Completed.
  4. Error experienced - Error.
Q Can I remove an approved request?
A No, removing approved requests is not permitted.
Q Can I retain a message longer than my account's Maximum Retention setting?
A Retention Adjustments cannot be used to extend the retention period of emails longer than your Maximum Retention setting.
