Resolve slowed performance of Google Drive and Gmail data collection

Overview

Google uses API quotas to limit API requests from third-party integrations such as Incydr. Throttling these API requests allows Google to better control their resources, but may slow down Incydr file metadata collection, especially after first enabling either the Incydr Google Drive or Incydr Gmail data connection. This article describes how to resolve slowed performance.

Resolve slowed performance

For faster performance, perform the following in the Google Admin console:

• Increase the quotas for the Incydr integration.
• Add additional Super Admin users, which enables Incydr to process data more quickly.
