This recap summarizes changes to supported operating systems and web browsers over the last quarter. This information is accurate as of September 18, 2023.
Supported operating systems
With few exceptions, Code42 endpoint software supports operating systems through the end of an operating system vendor’s support date.
Please ensure that you are updating your operating systems to remain on supported versions.
Planned support
Code42 support for macOS Sonoma
Apple has announced that the public release of macOS Sonoma will take place on September 26, 2023. Code42 will be supporting macOS Sonoma within 30 days following Apple’s release.
Upcoming end of support
These operating system versions are approaching end-of-support. Code42 agents will not support these versions after the end-of-support date:
- macOS 11 Big Sur: Anticipated end of support November 2023
- Windows 10, version 21H2: Anticipated end of support June 2024
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9: Anticipated end of support June 2024
