Supported operating systems
With few exceptions, Code42 endpoint software supports operating systems through the end of an operating system vendor’s support date.
Please ensure that you are updating your operating systems to remain on supported versions.
Recently supported
Windows 11, version 23H2
- Officially supported with:
- Insider risk agent 1.11.0 and later
- Backup agent version 12.2.0 and later
- Legacy agent (end-of-support) not supported
macOS Sonoma 14
- Officially supported with:
- Insider risk agent 1.10.0 and later
- Backup agent version 12.1.0 and later
- Legacy agent (end-of-support) not supported
Upcoming end of support
These operating system versions are approaching end of support. Code42 agents will not support these versions after these dates:
- Windows 10, version 21H2: Anticipated end of support June 2024
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9: Anticipated end of support June 2024
Recently unsupported
These operating system versions are no longer supported on endpoint devices running Code42 agents:
- macOS Big Sur 11: End of support November 2023
