Change the language setting in the backup agent

Overview

This article provides the step-by-step instructions for changing the backup agent's language setting.

Considerations

  • Changing the language creates a new history file. Your old history file is no longer available, even if you switch back to the original language.
  • You may need to restart the application for the new language selection to update the agent's menu options.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the backup agent.
  2. Select Settings menu gear icon Settings.
  3. From General, locate Language, and click Automatic.
  4. Select a language from the list.

  5. If necessary, close and re-open the agent to update menu options.
