This article contains information on exporting Signal Events in CSV or PDF format, including steps for single or multiple event exports, bulk exports, file format details, and filtering options to share event data with non-Aware users.
The Aware Signal Application alerts users of specified behavior through events in collaboration tools. Events are triggered by defined conditions such as keywords, patterns, sentiment, and/or toxic behavior. As Events are created, reviewing and taking action are often the next steps.
Sharing this data with users who don't have access to Aware is easily achieved using the Export options outlined below:
Export a Single Event
- Open Signal > Events
- Open the Event you wish to export. (Use the filtering tools to easily find the event you're looking for)
- Click the orange Export Event button and select between PDF and CSV formats
- The Export will download accordingly based on file format selection:
- CSV: Downloaded in .zip format to the folder location set by your context messages in CSV format. It will also include the single message and images/files if they are part of the context messages.
- PDF: Downloaded in .pdf format to the folder location set by your browser settings. The PDF will capture all the data as shown in Aware, including authored data, contextual data, and policy information.
Export Multiple Events
- Open Signal > Events
- Select the events you wish to export using the check boxes next to each event
- Click the Export as CSV button
- The Export will download in .csv format to the folder location set to your browser settings
Exporting multiple events will only provide the flagged message and will not include context or attached images/files.
Bulk Exports
This feature has the capability to export all events within a specified date range.
*Use the filtering options to narrow down content. You can only Bulk Export 10,000 events at a time.
- Navigate to Signal > Events.
- Use the filtering tools to confine results.
- Completed exports can be downloaded from the Bulk Exports tab at the top of the events page.
