Splunk cannot receive data from the Admin IP range - Jul 2024

Issue

Some customers cannot receive data in Splunk due to failing Admin IP range validation from an Apigee IP. This is a known limitation of the product that is not on the Product Team's roadmap for resolution. If you’d like to discuss how this issue impacts your organizational priorities, please reach out to your Account Team.

Workaround

  • Disable Admin IP ranges (unknown as customer does not want to do this as it is a security risk for them) or add the CIDR address 34.89.83.43/32 to the customer's admin up ranges.
