Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce a significant enhancement to Case Review, designed to provide users with deeper message insights and more robust sender management capabilities. These updates further streamline eDiscovery, compliance, and investigation workflows, empowering reviewers to take immediate action and make more informed decisions.

What's changing

• Transmission, Policy & Analysis Tabs:
  Users can now access dedicated tabs within Message Details, displaying comprehensive information about message transmission, applied policies, and spam analysis. This enables a clearer understanding of how each message was processed and evaluated by Mimecast.
• Smart Tags:
  Smart Tags linked to the message are now visible in the Message tab, providing quick context and categorization for each message.
• Audit & Retention Information:
  Users can view detailed audit trails and retention metadata directly within the Message tab, supporting compliance and investigation requirements.
• Permit for Recipient and Block for Recipient Buttons:
  New action buttons labelled Permit for Recipient and Block for Recipient allow users to add a message’s sender to the permitted or blocked senders list for a specific recipient, directly from the Message Details view. This enables targeted sender management, ensuring that actions are applied only to the relevant recipient’s mail flow.
