Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce that, based on valuable feedback from our customers and Technology Alliance Partners, we have decided to extend the planned end-of-life project for Mimecast API 1.0.
What's changing
- While we continue to encourage migration to the more robust and feature-rich API 2.0, we understand that some integrations still rely on API 1.0.
- To support these needs, we will be minimizing the presence of API 1.0 within the Mimecast Administration Console by removing partner-branded API 1.0 tiles; however, the ability to create generic API 1.0 applications will remain available until the end of 2026.
- This approach allows us to balance the transition to API 2.0 with ongoing customer and partner requirements, ensuring continuity and flexibility in your integration workflows.
- We appreciate our Technology Alliance Partners' feedback as we work to enhance our API ecosystem and overall security platform.
