Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce the release of the Account Takeover (ATO) for Email Security Cloud Gateway customers. Mimecast's Account Takeover feature helps to identify the risks to internal users who are targeted by attacks and to secure access to email and identity provider accounts.
The Account takeover feature is available at no additional cost to all Email Security Cloud Gateway customers on the Critical, Advanced, and Premium packages.
What's Changing
- Customers will be notified when Mimecast detects potentially compromised users.
- Account takeover detections will be available in Email Security Cloud Gateway.
- Account takeover alerts will appear in Analysis & Response, with a new tile in the Overview page showing the number of active alerts.
Recommended Actions
The Account Takeover (ATO) feature can be accessed via Analysis & Response within the Mimecast Administration Console. For more information on the feature, see Email Security Cloud Gateway - Account Takeover.
To access this Early Access release of Account Takeover, you will need to have the Early Access option enabled in the Mimecast Administration Console. This can be enabled by navigating to the user icon and choosing Preferences.
