This article contains information on accessing Aware and Mimecast Support Ticket Logging before and after the launch of Unified Login, including login processes, URL details, user provisioning, and considerations for managing user accounts and permissions.
Before Unified Login (Prior to October 10th 2025)
All Aware ONLY customers:
- Customers receive a user email address and Mimecast password for logging Mimecast Support tickets on the Zendesk platform.
- Customers have a user email address and Aware password for Aware UI login.
- The user email address for Aware and Zendesk could be different or the same.
Aware login
Access Aware UI using the following URLs based on region.

UK: https://app.uk-1.aware.mimecast.com/

AU: https://app.au-1.aware.mimecast.com/
DE: https://app.eu-2.aware.mimecast.com/

Once you've accessed Aware via the URL, you will be shown the following login pages. Enter your email address and password, and click continue:
Zendesk Login flow
Aware only customers have a Mimecast login in order to access Zendesk to raise customer support cases via https://mimecastsupport.zendesk.com/.
The same login details can be used to access the app launcher and log into the Mimecast Administration Console via https://login.mimecast.com/.
After The Launch of Unified Login
(Post October 10th 2025 - Currently Available)
Customers should continue to use Aware app URLs to access Aware.
USA: https://app.us-1.aware.mimecast.com/
USB: https://app.us-4.aware.mimecast.com/
UK: https://app.uk-1.aware.mimecast.com/
ZA: https://app.za-1.aware.mimecast.com/
AU: https://app.au-1.aware.mimecast.com/
DE: https://app.eu-2.aware.mimecast.com/
CA: https://app.ca-1.aware.mimecast.com/
Upon accessing Aware via the URLs, you will be shown the following login page:
Enter the email address and click Continue. You will be redirected to the Mimecast Identity login screen.
Enter the same email address and click Next.
Enter you Mimecast Identity password (Not the Aware password). You will be redirected to Aware automatically as the user you logged in as.
You will receive this error if your user doesn't exist in Aware:
Considerations
- If you are using the same email address today to log into Aware UI and Zendesk, then this user will be able to log into Aware after the Unified Login launch.
- If you are using different email addresses today to log into Aware and Zendesk then you will not be able to log in with the Aware user until this user is created in Mimecast (see next point).
- If you have additional users that were added in Aware, you will have to re-add those users again in Mimecast using the Mimecast Administration Console. To add a user, see Directories - Creating & Editing Users. Once the users are created in Mimecast, they should be able to log into Aware using the direct URLs above, and have the same permissions they had in Aware.
- To grant new users permission in Aware, you need to follow the instructions above and create users through the Mimecast Administration Console. Their role must include the "Aware" permission, which is found in the Archive menu when reviewing roles. Once confirmed, request those users to access Aware in order for a user to be created for them automatically, after which administrators can grant relevant Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions to users. See Aware - Role-Based Access Control Overview.
- Until Unified Search is available, access to Aware is only available via direct URLs above.
