Overview
Mimecast's Email Security Setup Wizard is an easy-to-use application that provides a streamlined, intuitive, and simplified way for new Email Security Cloud Gateway customers to connect to their Mimecast service.
The setup wizard allows Customers and Mimecast partners to get their tenant's account up and running with their Mimecast email experience quickly. In addition, this enables administrators to familiarize themselves more rapidly with the UI while removing the need for a request for information forms (RFI) which can cause delays.
The Email Security Setup Wizard walks administrators through the three steps needed to get their mail flowing through Mimecast.
- Account Setup - This section allows administrators to configure their Mimecast account by updating emergency contact details, validating their domain, selecting their mail infrastructure, integrating their directory, and setting up their mail delivery route.
- Inbound Mail Setup - In this step, administrators will be guided step by step through the process required to have their inbound mail routed via Mimecast.
- Outbound Mail Setup - In this step, administrators will be guided step-by-step through the process required to have their outbound email routed via Mimecast.

2017. It was developed to simplify onboarding to the Mimecast
platform and services. Many customers use this app to get up
and running on their Mimecast service. The new Email Security Setup Wizard further streamlines and accelerates connecting to Mimecast's Email Security service beyond the original Connect App's capabilities. |

Any new customers joining Mimecast will now be using the
Email Security Setup Wizard as their
onboarding tool. Exception applies to Awareness Training only, DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance) only, BEP (Brand Exploit Protect) only customers and customers purchasing Managed Services. |
