Issue
Administrators may experience slow download performance when exporting Archive Search metadata via the Mimecast Administration Console.
This is being investigated by our engineering team.
Workaround
While a resolution is being worked on, there are two available options to obtain Archive Search metadata export reports:
- Wait for the export to complete
If you initiate a metadata export from Archive Search in the Mimecast Administration Console, allow additional time for the export to complete. Exports can take a few minutes before the download is available. Use Case Review to export metadata
As an alternative to exporting directly from Archive Search, you can use the Case Review app:- Open the Case Review app.
- Create an Archive Search.
- Create a new export.
- When configuring the export, set the Data Type to Metadata Only.
This Case Review export provides a similar metadata report with even more metadata fields than the Mimecast Administration Console metadata export.
