Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce the release of the new DMARC Analyzer 2.0, the next-generation version of our DMARC solution, available as a standalone product and as part of the Mimecast suite. It provides a central place to manage all your domains, analyze DMARC data, simplify DNS management, and guide you from monitoring to DMARC enforcement in a structured, repeatable way.
What's changing
DMARC Analyzer 2.0 introduces enhanced functionality across visibility, control, and operations, including:
Improved visibility and reporting
- Aggregate DMARC reports for all configured domains.
- Forensic (RUF) reporting for detailed investigation of failed messages.
- TLS reporting to understand and improve email encryption.
- Updated compliance-style reporting to support management, audit, and governance.
- A timeline view to track and correlate key DMARC and configuration events.
Stronger domain and sender management
- Centralized domain management with domain groups for easier organization.
- Vendor management views to identify and track third‑party senders using your domains.
DNS delegation and tools
- DNS delegation for SPF, DMARC, and DKIM to reduce manual DNS effort and risk.
- DNS checkers to validate records and surface configuration issues.
- DNS generators to help you create correct DMARC, SPF, and DKIM records.
Program orchestration and governance
- Workflow Manager (Task Manager) to structure and track DMARC rollout tasks.
- Alerts for spikes, anomalies, or configuration changes that need attention.
- DMARC‑specific user permissions for role‑based access and control.
Recommended actions
- Customers should first ensure all relevant domains are present and logically grouped, then validate and, where needed, correct DMARC, SPF, and DKIM records.
- Customers must familiarize themselves with the new DMARC Analyzer 2.0 functionalities and features within the Mimecast Administration Console.
- Customers can contact our Mimecast Support Team or Account Manager to learn more about how these changes will affect their organization.
