Overview

Mimecast is excited to announce the Open Beta release of the User Portal. We're inviting you to experience and provide feedback on this enhanced, app-like interface for accessing Mimecast services through your web browser.

What is the Mimecast User Portal

The User Portal Open Beta introduces a modern, streamlined experience that combines the convenience of web access with some functionality of a native application. During this Beta phase, users can:

  • Progressive Web App Technology: The User Portal is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA), delivering an app-like experience directly through your browser.

  • Install to Device: Add the User Portal directly to your device's home screen or taskbar for quick, one-click access.

  • Experience Enhanced Performance: Benefit from faster load times and smoother navigation.

  • Try the New Interface: Explore a cleaner, more intuitive design.

  • Test Cross-Platform: Use the User Portal across desktop and mobile devices.

Why is this an open beta

The first iterations of the User Portal will not have all the features currently available via the current end-user applications, and we know that this means many customers will not be able to move users over to this until it provides more of the current functionality. However, providing access to the User Portal as soon as possible will allow you to provide feedback during the development process and influence future iterations.

Who Can Participate

The Open Beta is available to all Mimecast users who access the User Portal through supported modern web browsers (Chrome, Edge, and Safari).
