This guide will help you quickly set up Mimecast Sync & Recover in your Mimecast account. For detailed documentation, refer to the official Mimecast Sync & Recover page: Mimecast Sync & Recover.
Prerequisites
To use Mimecast Sync & Recover, you need to create a connector; the next step will guide you through it:
- Log in to the Mimecast Administration Console.
- Navigate to Integrations | Connectors.
- Click Create New Connector, then select the option for Sync & Recover.
- Connect Mimecast to your Microsoft Office 365 by selecting the option below.
- You must authenticate to your Office 365 environment with a global admin account and approve the required permissions. Then, provide a description for the connector.
- Verify the summary details and proceed to Create/Save the connector.
Now that we have the connection between Mimecast and your Office 365 environment established, we can proceed to configure Sync & Recover.
