Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce a new View Message Content permission in Aware, providing Administrators with greater control over message content visibility.

What's changing

This update enables organizations to delegate administrative capabilities such as policy management, user management, and export generation to Administrators, while restricting access to confidential message data. The permission is available across the following modules:

• Spotlight
• Signal
• Search & Discover

Recommended actions

To prepare for this update, review your existing Aware role settings. For Administrator roles, disable the View Message Content permission to limit content access.
