Who's affected Administrators

Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce that administrators can now enable and disable integrations directly within the Integrations Hub, without needing to delete and recreate their configuration. This capability is available for the CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Threat Share integrations, as well as Event Push integrations.

What's changing

  • Pause Without Losing Configuration: Integrations can now be disabled and placed into a paused state, preserving all existing configuration settings. When re-enabled, the integration will resume from where it left off, eliminating the need to rebuild configurations from scratch.
  • Simplified Integration Lifecycle Management: Administrators gain more granular control over active integrations, making it easier to temporarily suspend data sharing or event forwarding during maintenance windows, policy reviews, or troubleshooting — without disrupting the underlying configuration.
  • Applies Across Key Integrations: Enable/disable support is available for the following integrations in the Integrations Hub: CrowdStrike Threat Share, Zscaler Threat Share, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Threat Share, and Event Push.

Recommended actions

  • Navigate to Integrations | Integrations Hub in the Mimecast Administration Console to manage the enabled/disabled state of your configured integrations.
