Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce that the Google Workspace Alert Center surfaces identity-related security alerts across a customer's Google Workspace environment, including suspicious logins, leaked credentials, and account suspensions. The integration allows Mimecast to pull these alerts from the Google Workspace Alert Center API and associate each event with a user to update their identity behavior score accordingly.
The customer must have a valid Google Workspace account with access to the Alert Center API.
What's changing
Integration Availability: The Google Workspace Identity Integration is now available in the Mimecast Integrations Hub.
Functionality: The integration periodically reads identity-related security alerts from the Google Workspace Alert Center via API. These are forwarded to the Human Risk Platform, which associates each alert with a user and updates the identity behavior score for that user.
Experience: Historical events will not be pulled from Google Workspace Alert Center; only events from the point of integration onward. This simplifies Onboarding, and will not change historical scores.
End Points: The integration accesses the Google Workspace Alert Center API at https://alertcenter.googleapis.com, to retrieve identity-related alert data (leaked passwords, suspicious logins, account suspensions) and correlate that with users.
