Engage - Managing Email Alerts

This article contains information on managing email notifications to remind users to complete Engage Company-Wide Training, including enabling, disabling, and editing notifications. It is intended for Administrators.

Up to four email notifications can be sent to users who have not completed their training modules, to remind them to complete them. These are sent at weekly intervals.

Enabling / Disabling Email Notifications

When your email alerts are displayed, you can enable or disable them.

You can enable or disable an alert by using the following steps:

  1. Log in to Engage.
  2. Select Settings | Email Templates.
  3. Enable the Branding for Emails to turn on the Notification Templates below. For more information, see Branding.

The Company-Wide Training Assignment Notification Email can be edited in the module details once the video is scheduled.

Viewing / Changing Email Notifications

You can view and edit the notification email message on a released Company-Wide Training module by using the following steps. Users who have not yet taken the training will see the updated email.

  1. Log in to Engage.
  2. Select Training Queues | Company-Wide Training.
  3. Click on the Company Wide Training module you wish to change.
  4. Click on Customize Email
  5. Click on  Edit Email to edit it. The editor allows you to add:
  • Styles.
  • Text formatting.
  • Text content.
  • Images: You can add images by copying and pasting them in.
  • Links: The link to the training video must not be removed. If it is, you will be unable to update the email template.
  1. Click on the Update button.
  2. Click on the Close button to return to your alerts.

Reset to Default can be used to return the alert to its default version.
