Mimecast Education - Registering with Mimecast University

This article describes how to log into Mimecast University to access training resources. It is beneficial to Administrators and End Users.
Mimecast University is Mimecast's official learning platform. Once registered, learners can access a variety of useful content and explore it at their own pace. There are also certifications available to help you demonstrate your skills across different product areas.

 

Accessing Mimecast University 

All Mimecast customers have access to Mimecast University via the Mimecast Community platform. The platform uses Single Sign-On to authenticate your existing Mimecast Administration Console or cloud password.

If this is your first time accessing Mimecast University, your user account will be automatically provisioned on the platform as part of the login process.

You can log in to Mimecast University, by using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Mimecaster Community and click on Customer Mimecast University in the Quick Links menu on the right.

 

 

Because you are logging into Mimecast University via Community, you will be taken directly to the learning landing page for customers. Begin browsing courses and certifications to get started.

 

 

  1. Scroll down to the bottom right-hand corner of the page, and click on the Customer Mimecast University tile. (Alternatively, you can log in by visiting https://mucustomer.mimecast.com/learn, which will take you directly to the Mimecast University login page.)
  2. This will direct you to the Mimecast University login page.
  3. Select Sign Into Mimecast U from this screen.

  1. You will then be directed to the login page, where you can enter your Mimecast username and password.

 

Accessing Mimecast University Directly

  1. Visit https://mucustomer.mimecast.com/learn, which will take you directly to the Mimecast University login page.

This will be your Active Directory or Cloud password, depending on your organization's setup.
Should you already be logged into the Mimecast Community page, you will not be asked to log in again and will be directed to Mimecast University.

Mimecast Partners need to register and access training and certifications from the Partner Portal.

 

Accessing Mimecast University: The Partner Portal 

You can access Mimecast University from the Partner Portal, by using the following steps:

  1. From the Mimecast Partner Portal home page, navigate to Resources and select Mimecast University, or, navigate to Menu | University.


  1. From the Mimecast University Partner Homepage, Select Post Sales Technical Training.

  1. From the Post Sales Technical training tab, Select a Course or Certification Learning Plan.
  2. If you are not currently enrolled, click Enroll.

  1. To begin learning, click Start learning Now.
  2. MSPs should coordinate with their Channel Account Manager (CAM) upon successful completion of the certification.
